A Game Farm hour in the silo

Sixty minutes, three browser sessions, one desk in Berlin. This plan is what we would hand a visitor who asked how to spend an hour with Straw Ball, Rime Climb and Sky Ribbon without rushing the fails.

Minutes 0–5: land on the Game Farm shortlist

Open the home page, read the ranking cards, and note the “not published” lines. That habit matters: you will not find a store score to lean on. Skim the how-to-play page if the controls feel opaque, then jump into Straw Ball’s play page.

Minutes 5–25: Straw Ball on the farm floor

Play until you clear a few gates without panic, then take one intentional golden-pen risk. When a fox or a post ends the run, stop and read the Straw Ball review. The review should match what you just saw; if it does not, the contact card is the correction path.

Minutes 25–45: Rime Climb in the cold room

Spend the first runs only on alternate picks. Add fish pockets after the rhythm holds. When Melt Rush appears, treat it as a tempo drill, not a score hunt. End this block with the Rime Climb review open beside the play page if you want the side facts while the hands still remember the strikes.

Minutes 45–60: Sky Ribbon above the silo

Warm up with safe ribbons at mid height. Attempt one gold ribbon near a peak, then decide whether the cliff is worth a second try. Close the hour on the Sky Ribbon review and, if you still have two minutes, skim the note on empty store fields so the blank columns make sense.

If you only have twenty minutes

Play Straw Ball twice, read its review, and stop. The Game Farm ranking puts that session first for a reason: it teaches the desk’s rules — local play, dated facts, no invented store numbers — faster than the climb or the flight.

After the hour

The tips page lists habits we kept during the check. The glossary defines the words the silo repeats. None of these pages replace the builds; they sit beside them.
